Bulbophyllum macranthum Lindl.
Subtribe: Bulbophyllinae
Temperature: I.W.
Country: Malaysia, Sumatra New Guinea and Philippines
Bulbophyllum macranthum is a robust creeping species that needs either a large basket of a long piece of treefern. A warm grower, it can also be trained around a large shallow container. Maximum sunlight, leaves somewhat yellowish, will promote flowering.
When in active growth, it will take a lot of water and fertiliser. A rest and slightly drier conditions during the cooler months is recommended.
I have several plants, each mounted on a large treeferm slab (which they love!) for sale for $22.00 (plus postage) or a swap if you are interested use my contact tab and let me know.
