Just started to bloom. I have 2 of those very nice plants, one mounted on a tree trunk and one on a piece of tree bark.
I really like those flowers.

Dendrobium Star?
I did a quick and dirty genealogy of Den. Star, and it's parentage consists mainly of kingianum, speciosum, tetragonum, delicatum and similar Australian species. The impression I get of this flower (and its vegetative habit) is of a nobile-like cane and related flower. From the parentage I would expect stiff sepals and petals. Have I gone astray somewhere?

Similar to one sold in Thailand
This looks like a plant that is sold all over Thailand. It is a small and very floriferous little hybrid. It is a soft cane type dendrobium but it is much smaller than the traditional nobile type. I have been told one of the parents is D unicum, but it is very hard to find anyone who knows the parentage of plants here.

dendrobium Star
Thanks for your comments. It is definitively a smaller plan than the normal dendrobium. They come in differente colours, yellow, orange. But they look wonderful, especially the one on the tree bark.
