Dendrobium toressae (F.M.Bailey) Dockrill, Orchadian 1: 64 (1964).

Orchid is growing side-by-side with Dendrobium lichenastrum on an exposed rock outcrop.

Interesting in situ image, the leaves look to be baked. What size is the flower Princess?

Just estimating Bernard less than 10mm across... I only took these photos with my mobile phone camera so they are not as good as they could be.

I think it's one of those things... the species we desire to see the most are usually those that don't grow in our own backyards! LOL
