Vanda hastifera
In my opinion and after reviewing books and websites as well, I would agree with you : the lip structure doesn't match with Vanda scandens but colour pattern and lip structure match with Vanda hastifera. It seems also that flowers of V. scandens are smaller than the ones of V. hastifera, it could help to identify your plant.
Flowers of Vanda furva (synonym V. lindenii, V. crassiloba), Vanda hastifera and Vanda scandens are very close so it seems that many plants are sold with a wrong ID.
It is a very beautiful species that you have here !!

Vanda hastifera var. hastifera
Hi Pak,
I agree with you and Philippe, that this is V. hastifera var. hastifera from the lowlands of Borneo.
The shape of the lip and its hirsute base agrees with several references that I've managed to check.
Cheers.
Gary

V. hastifera var. hastifera appearance
Hi Gary,
and thanks for additional information. Do you know what are the main differences between V. hastifera var. hastifera and Vanda hastifera the type species?
Maybe it could be a good idea for me to buy Peter O'Byrne's books ha ha.

Vanda hastifera
Hi Philippe,
After now just checking the World Checklist, I see that V. hastifera var. gibbsiae is treated as a distinct species.
Therefore the typical species is V. hastifera, which has the hairy auricles at the base of the lip. It no longer needs to be distinguished as V. hastifera var. hastifera.
According to Phillip Cribb (1993), V. hastifera var. gibbsiae has much less hirsute auricles, less reflexed sepals and petals, much more markings on the sepals and petals and fragrance. I think that this combination of many different characters is good enough for distinct specific status for V. gibbsiae.
V. gibbsiae is treated in Peter O'Byrne's book (2011) as V. hastifera var. gibbsiae, but only V. hastifera is illustrated.
Sorry for the confusion.
Cheers.

Thanks Garry for
Thanks Garry for explanation.
I have bought a plantlet of Vanda hastifera plus a flask to an another seller and a plant of Vanda scandens : I am pretty sure that I will have some surprises knowing all the confusions that there are between Vanda hastifera, Vanda scandens, Vanda furva and now Vanda gibbsiae...
Philippe
Yes...that's more like it....
Yes....many thanks to both of you Gary n Philippe....I knew that something is not right about the ID of this particular plant, and finally you guys confirm it.
I suppose its and addition to my collection of Vanda sp. Again its worth of being a member of this community.
Again base on the comment from you guys now I'm clear for some of the variety of this sp.Its a gud info indeed....especially from you Gary...Thanks.
