Lovely flowers!! Hope flowers
Lovely flowers!! Hope flowers last longer than that of D thyrsiflorum... Is it a warm grower?

growing
pettayil, I grow it in a green house that is heated to a degree but its not hot till the summer hits. The flowers last about as long as D. thyrsiflorum in there, about 2 weeks. If I had a covered area without heat I could probably get 3 weeks out of the flowers. I found that thyrsiflorum flowered and lasted longer cool than warm but didn't grow long canes as it did if warm. D. farmeri liked it warm for growth & flowers. This one I believe to be in the middle. Its a matter of finding the right place in the house.
Lovely flower and colour
Lovely flower and colour contrast.
Thank you for the great photo!
