Bulbophyllum henrici.
I imported this Bulbophyllum from Madagascar a few years ago. This my first flowering.
I think it might be Bulbophyllum henrici var rectangulare, can anyone verify this?

Madagascan bulbo
Eric, I like your images and congratulations on the flowering of this often difficult group.
If this was my plant I would label it, B.species aff B.henrici. There are so many similar varieties of this also different sizes and different colour forms. I hope the Schlechters drawing I sent will help with ID.

Thanks
I want to thank Bernard for his help and comments both on OOL and sending Schlechters drawing via email.

A name
With some correspondence with bernabu it was suggested that it would be safe to put Bulb. sp aff henrici on the title for this plant. So I will do the edit until some else can come up with a definite name.

Great images
I really enjoyed looking at your pictures. There is so much detail in the wrinkly-looking petals - fantastic job!

Thanks
Thanks Chris for your comments, it is a very interesting texture on the flowers and I'm very happy to have flowered it.Does anyone else in Australia have this Bulbo in their collection.
I have another Madagascan Bulbo imported at the same time that is also in spike for me now. I will post photos of it as soon as it opens. It is in the bud stage and like the posted here I don't have a name for it so will be asking for help with it.

Bulbophyllum henrici
Hi Eric,
This looks to me to be Bulbophyllum henrici.
Bulb. henrici var. rectangulare differs from the typical variety by the synsepal that is bi-apiculate at the apex and the smaller subrectangular lip lacking a circular depression.
Cheers.

My fault for
Gary you are agreeing with J Hermans with whom I have exchanged emails and he has put Bulb. henrici on it. It is my fault for not changing the title but will do it now. Thanks for the reminder.
