Coelogyne flaccida 'George'

This is a generally cool growing species from lower and upper montane forests in northern India, Bhutan and Laos to Vietnam to around 2000m so ought not to do much with me in tropical Far North Queensland at sea level.

But this particular plant seems to enjoy the heat and has flowered several times before. We have had a very cool winter in 2011 with temperature down to 17C (yes I know that's not really cool) but that has produced blooms on several normally sluggish orchids and a better showing on C flaccida 'George'.
